Nothing Phone (2) Will Run On Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC
Nothing's founder revealed at MWC this year that the Nothing Phone (2) will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processor.
A Qualcomm official inadvertently revealed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor will power the Nothing Phone (2).
Qualcomm executive Alex Katouzian posted the news on LinkedIn but later removed the post.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset offers a 10% improvement in GPU clock rates and a 30% decrease in GPU power, while the Qualcomm Kryo CPU promises 10% faster CPU performance and 30% better CPU power efficiency.
The brand is likely to preserve the same transparent design for the Nothing Phone (2) while introducing new software improvements.
The smartphone manufacturer provided no information on the global debut of its next-generation flagship smartphone.
