This list contains information about comedians with disabilities, loosely ranked by fame and popularity. Several famous stand-up comedians and comedic actors have disabilities. Some of these comics were born with degenerative diseases, while others were involved in accidents later in life. One of the greatest stand-up comedians of all time needed to use a wheelchair due to multiple sclerosis.

He has said, “I have no choice about whether or not I have Parkinson’s. I have nothing but choices about how I react to it. In those choices, there’s freedom to do a lot of things in areas that I wouldn’t have otherwise found myself in.”

In the 1990s, stand-up legend Richard Pryor started using a motorized scooter to get around because of his multiple sclerosis. “Ed” actor Daryl Mitchell is paralyzed from the waist down. He was injured in a motorcycle accident in 2001. “Last Comic Standing” alum Josh Blue has cerebral palsy.
