Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life Season 2 Release Date Confirm 2023

Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life Season 2, when will it release?

Isekai as a genre is often characterized by long titles, reincarnation, magical world with lots of females fighting for male protagonists’ attention.

More or less, this is the premise of most isekai animes which to be fair does have a sizeable fanbase who do enjoy these tropes.

So, when Fall 2019 rolled around and Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life hit the small screen, undoubtedly isekai fans had this anime adaption by Project No. 9 of FUNA s’ light novel series on their to-watch list.

The story follows an eighteen-year-old genius Kurihara Misato who always tops her class and is obsessed with the otaku culture.

While returning home from her high school graduation, she sees a girl falling off her bike onto an oncoming truck.

Misato jumps in front of the truck and saves the girl but pays the price of valor with her life.

A god-like creature appears and offers Misato to be reincarnated into another world that is less intellectual as opposed to the one she lived in before losing her life.

Misato also asks the deity to reincarnate her as a normal human with average intelligence and so she is reborn as noble s’ daughter, Adele Von Ascham.

After Misato regains her memory, she discovers that what she considers average is 6,800 times stronger than that of a normal person in this new world.

Misato aka Adele leaves home after knowing that her mother and grandfather were killed by her father who remarried while fathering a new child.

Adele enrolls in a Hunter Prep School using the alias Mile wherein she forms a team with her classmates Mavis, Reina, and Pauline.

Can Mile aka Adele aka Misato live a normal life while keeping her overpowering abilities in check in the face of adversity is the central plot of the show.

Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life season one was received with a mixed reception as some seemed to enjoy the adventure of the female protagonists while others deemed it as a cliché isekai trash.

Production studios consider various financial and consumer metrics before announcing a renewal.

Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life season one can be considered as a failure when compared to other isekai released in Fall 2019 such as High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even in Another World! and Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The Frozen Bond.

The series was heavily reliant on referential humor and running gags which felt irritating rather than relief. The negative reviews are further backed up by IMDB s’ user episode ratings which only portray a sad story.

The main attraction as stated by producer Hirotsugu Ogo was the all-female cast which sadly only provided fan service and awkward comedy rather than an actual gripping story.

Furthermore, Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life Season one rushed through the light novel which evidences the fact that the series was only created as a ‘source material seller’.

Notoriously, Studio Project No. 9 is renowned for not doing sequels of any anime series since 2014, which only cuts down the prospect of Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life Season 2.

Furthermore, Studio Project No. 9 has already got two new animes scheduled for release, i.e., The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten and The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess.

All in all, the chances of Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life season 2 happening looks highly bleak and it won’t be a surprise if the series gets cancelled.

Nevertheless, if by some miracle Project No. 9 does renew the series then we can expect Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life Season 2 trailer and Didn’t I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life Season 2 release date in later 2024.
