On 17th October 2022, a reliable anime news leaks Twitter account SPANKU (@spanku_u) confirmed the anime adaption of Berserk of Gluttony. The tweet didn’t reveal any key visual or a teaser but only referenced the light novel series cover.
This news would please the Berserk of Gluttony manga and light novel series fans who have been waiting for the Berserk of Gluttony anime since its release.
The leak outlet doesn’t mention any details regarding the production studio for the Berserk of Gluttony anime however, an update might not be too far.
When any studio makes an official confirmation, we will update this section accordingly. Consequently, when the production studio is made public to the fans, then we can expect the Berserk of Gluttony anime trailer and Berserk of Gluttony season 1 release date.

Berserk of Gluttony light novel is written by Isshiki Ichika and illustrated by Fame. It began publishing in Micro Magazine since 30th 2017, under the GC novels imprint. An English translation by Seven Seas Entertainment was published in North America on 5th January 2021.

BERSERK OF GLUTTONY PLOT
The premise of Berserk of Gluttony is set in the medieval fantasy world where the concept of levels exists.
Every creature begins at level and increase it by killing monsters which run riot through the land. But not everyone can accomplish this, only a selected few men and women equipped with strong skills can fight off these monsters.
The story follows a young man named Fate Graphite who is forced to take a job as the Kingdom s’ gatekeeper after being thrown by his village due to his useless skill called Gluttony.
Like the name suggests, Gluttony is a skill that consumes the soul of a person, consequently stealing his stats and skills. While the skill appears to be strong, it’s, in fact, a curse as the user is never satiated by the consumption and is in constant need of the supply of souls.
Gatekeeping was considered a difficult task due to its dangers, and high-ranking knights were hired to carry out the job. However, many of them felt its beneath their position and would often bully Fate.
Roxy Hart is the only holy knight who treated Fate Graphite without cruelty, unlike the other holy knights.
While walking home, Fate sees a bandit group trying to sneak into the town and quickly figures out that he can’t take them all on his own, so he asks Roxy Hart s’ help.
During the battle, a bandit with no arms tries to escape, but Fate, armed with a spear, attempts to stop him in the process, the bandit gets killed and thus awakening his skill, Gluttony.
Once a weak nobody, Fate realizes his true strength, but at what cost? How many souls he would need to consume before becoming a monster? The theme of Berserk of Gluttony anime characters and plotline would revolve around Fate s’ skill and its consequences.
